MIRAGE 2000C Tiger Meet 80mm EDF

The Mirage V2 from Freewing, a highly popular model in the 80mm electric jet category, has now received several upgrades that make it even more powerful and appealing. These new features include hybrid gear servos for better flight precision, a vibrant "Tiger Meet" livery for increased visibility during flight, as well as a 12-blade fan paired with a 3658-2150Kv brushless inrunner motor. These improvements enhance the flying experience, making it more dynamic, faster, and above all, easier to see and maneuver.

The Mirage 2000, which this model is based on, is an iconic fighter aircraft designed by Dassault Aviation. This fourth-generation multirole single-engine fighter was developed in the 1970s to meet the needs of the French Air Force. Initially designed as a lightweight fighter, succeeding the Mirage III, the Mirage 2000 evolved into a versatile aircraft with several variants for different mission profiles. Over 600 units have been produced, and the aircraft has been adopted by the air forces of nine countries worldwide, becoming a key player in the military aviation field.

Freewing, known for the quality of its model aircraft, has incorporated impressive features into this version of the Mirage 2000, faithfully replicating the real-life aircraft. The propulsion system, consisting of a 12-blade fan, generates enough static thrust to allow the aircraft to maintain a hover. This means the pilot can defy gravity by keeping the nose of the aircraft pointed skyward, perpendicular to the ground, in an impressive display. Aerobatic enthusiasts will appreciate this feature, which allows for advanced piloting skills to be showcased. When it’s time to accelerate, the Mirage V2 can also perform fast and spectacular flybys over the runway, delivering thrilling experiences for the operator.

Another key advantage of the Mirage V2 is its handling during landing phases. Thanks to its delta-wing configuration, the aircraft can significantly slow down, making final approaches and landings smooth and controlled, even with the nose slightly raised. This characteristic builds confidence in pilots during the most delicate maneuvers, while still delivering high performance.

The Mirage V2 Tiger Meet, fully revamped and modernized, marks the entry of this iconic model into the contemporary era of electric jets.

Thanks to these improvements, the Mirage V2 Tiger Meet becomes not only a more powerful aircraft but also a true joy to fly for model aviation enthusiasts. Its power, precision, and customizable options make it a must-have model for electric jet fans. Whether it's for impressive hovering maneuvers or fast, spectacular flight passes, this model is designed to offer a unique and exciting flying experience. Pilots of all skill levels will be able to enjoy the many qualities of this aircraft, while benefiting from the technological innovations that make it one of the best models in its class.
