MHD8DS receiving radio accessory for MHD8X - V.2.9.1

From March 2023, MHD8X radios will be delivered with a new V.2.9.1 version of the programme. With this latest version, it is possible to change the frequency of use of the 2.4 GHz by using the SW4 switch on the top right-hand side of the transmitter.

By moving the SW4 switch 5 or 6 times up and down once the receiver is powered up and the transmitter switched on, you change the frequency, with the 'FR' LED in the centre right changing colour.

This LED is originally blue to bind the receiver supplied with the radio control, so you don't have to move the SW4 switch to pair your receiver.

However, if you want to pair any receiver other than the original one, you'll have to do the same thing, with the RF LED turning green to bind other receivers.

This latest-generation optional receiver (Z01029) and the receivers supplied with the previous version of the MHD8X (Z01028 and Z01028B) are compatible with version V.2.9.1 of the radiocontrol system by changing the frequency.

The previous version of the MHD8X in V.2.9 is not affected by this possibility of changing the frequency.
You will therefore need an older generation receiver (Z01028 and Z01028B) to work with your  MHD8X version V.2.9..


The characteristics of the radio control do not change.

The version of your radio can be seen on the screen when you switch on your transmitter.

New version 2023: V.2.9.1.
Previous version: V.2.9.

The functions and other features of the MHD8X do not change with this new version.


This reference Z01029 corresponds to a receiver compatible only with version V.2.9.1.
