Greek static boat 1/72

 According to documents from Athens, there were 27 oarsmen (thalamites) on each side of the lower row, 27 oarsmen (zygites) on the second row, and 31 oarsmen (thranites) on the third row. Like the previous types, triremes had wide oars on the stern. In addition to the 170 oarsmen recruited from the poorest layers of the free population, there were 30 other individuals on the ship. These included archers, sailors, flutists who set the rowing rhythm with flutes, and crew members.

Each ship was commanded by a nauarchos or trierachos. The ship was steered from the stern by the helmsman (kybernetes).

Under favorable conditions, the trireme could sail at a speed of up to 12 kilometers per hour. The main weapon of the trireme was a bronze ram mounted on the bow, used to spear the sides of enemy ships. The ship primarily moved using oars; sails were only used during long voyages. During battles, the sails and mast leaned towards the stern, and only the oars were used.
