The Black Pearl, originally known as the HEIC Wicked Wench, is a ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.

The Black Pearl is easily recognizable by its black hull and sails, which prove advantageous in more ways than one.

Not only do the black sails serve as a form of intimidation tactic, but the crew of the Black Pearl can extinguish the deck lights to be even stealthier at night. The ship was originally named the Wicked Wench before being burned and sunk by Lord Beckett.

Davy Jones later raised it from the depths of the sea after striking a deal with Jack Sparrow, who renamed it the Black Pearl.
It's the legendary curse resulting from the mutiny led by Hector Barbossa that made it feared by all as a cursed ship.

It enjoys the reputation of being the fastest ship in the Caribbean. The Black Pearl is classified as an Indiaman, with its dark sails, black hull, and special lanterns that, when extinguished, allow it to blend into the darkness. Additionally, it is equipped with 32 cannons, 18 on the main deck and 14 on the upper deck. It is renowned for being virtually impervious, considered the fastest ship in the world. .
