\nThe heritage of Tri-Five Chevy began with the development of the 1955 chevy fully redesigned, available in 150, 210 and high-end Bel Air. The tri-fives jewel was the brand new 265ci OHV compression V8 265Ci engine, short-off, bolted in a rear traction chassis. 1955 also marks the year that Chevy adopts the \"shoe box\" style of his cars. The rounded bulb hood and the side panels in previous years. Instead, more flat and more slender lines have swept away the entire length of the car to the rear style of the Cadillac brand GM.
