\nThe BTR-152 was a six-wheeled Soviet armored troop carrier, built on the chassis and the training train of a ZIS-151 utility truck. He came into service with a certain number of member states of the Warsaw Pact from 1950 and formed the pillar of the Soviet Battalions of Fusiliers à Motor until the advent of the BTR-60 amphibious series in the 1960s .
\nBTR-152S were available in several brands, and were made in large numbers for the Soviet army and export. Late production models used automobile components of the more reliable ZIL-157 truck. Three main variants of the BTR-152 appeared between 1950 and 1959: the transport of basic armored troops with a single machine gun of 7.62mm or 12.7mm mounted on pivot, an unarmed command vehicle with a higher roof line and an anti-aircraft variant armed with ZPU-2 support. The BTR-152S could each transport an infantry squad or specialized armaments teams with their mortars and their anti-tank equipment. In Soviet service, a number of them have also been deployed as an artillery tractors.\n
